Muslim world urged to back Palestine

The Palestinian ambassador to Tehran, Salah Zawawi, calls on the Muslim world to fully express their support for the Palestinian uprising.
Speaking at a seminar entitled 'Palestine and Iranian Youth' in Tehran, Zawawi assured that the Palestinian uprising would continue until the liberation of Palestine and the achievement of freedom and victory.
"The Palestinian nation has harrowing experience about the Middle East Peace Conference slated for November. We have no option but to see what the outcome of the confab would be," Zawawi noted.
"The late Imam Khomeini insightfully addressed the pain and suffering of the Muslim world. He therefore declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan to be marked as Quds Day," the Palestinian envoy added.
"All Palestinian political factions should take an active part in the uprising against the Zionist regime. All Palestinians spare no effort to achieve Palestine's liberation. We hope that such aspiration will be actualized one day," Zawawi concluded
