NABLUS, (PIC)-- Jamil Mezher, a prominent leader of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine (PFLP), confirmed that the PA security apparatuses continue surrounding a group of resistance fighters affiliated with the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of PFLP, in the Ein refugee camp in Nablus.

In a press release received by the PIC, Mezher opined that the PA security apparatuses are attempting to achieve what the IOF troops had failed in when they invaded the camp.

The PFLP leader that this serious action is fully consistent with the statements of PA interior minister in Ramallah Abdul Razak Al-Yahya, who pledged to dissolve the armed wings of the Palestinian resistance, considering what is happening a catastrophe for the Palestinian cause.

Mezher underlined that the PA interior minister is carrying out orders of Gen. Keith Dayton (American security coordinator in Palestinians lands) as a part of the first stage of the road map required from the PA which aims to eliminate the Palestinian resistance.

The PFLP leader called on PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to lift immediately his siege on the camp, urging him to listen to the voice of reason and stand alongside the choice of his people away from his political calculations, which are detrimental to the future of the Palestinian cause.

For his part, Mushir Al-Masri, the secretary-general of Hamas-affiliated change and reform parliamentary bloc, lashed out at the PA interior minister's statements about dissolving and eliminating the Palestinian armed wings, expressing his belief that the history and the Palestinian people will never forgive the crimes perpetrated by the PA government or leadership because these crimes are committed against hundreds of thousands of Palestinian martyrs, wounded and prisoners who sacrificed their lives over history.

Masri pointed out that Yahya's statements are Zio-American par excellence, expressing no surprise at such statements being issued by someone having no belief in resistance as a choice of the Palestinian people.

The lawmaker highlighted that the Palestinian resistance is hard to undermine and no force on the planet can eliminate it, calling on the PA government and leadership to recover their sanity or else they will be consigned to the dunghill of history.

For his part, Abu Mujahid, the spokesman for the popular resistance committees (PRC), described the PA edict to dissolve and disarm the armed wing of Palestinian resistance as a failed decision.

In a press release received by the PIC, Abu Mujahid confirmed that the Palestinian resistance exists to defend the Palestinian people and their dignity and no one in this world has the right to disarm it.

The PRC spokesman warned of the consequences of implementing this decision, calling on Yahya and the PA chief to refrain from this serious decision against the Palestinian people and its resistance because history does not have mercy on anyone.

In the same context, Palestinian resistance factions including the Qassam and Quds Brigades deplored Yahya's press releases to the Kuwaiti newspaper, that the PA chief issued an edict to dissolve the Palestinian armed wings and that the Palestinian Intifada brought catastrophic results on Palestinians.

Abu Obeida, the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, underscored that the Brigades will never allow the collaborators to disarm it or harm its fighters whatever the cost may be, adding that removing mountains is an easier job to Abbas and his entourage than eliminating and disarming the Qassam Brigades.

Abu Obeida called on the honorable men in Fatah and the Palestinian factions to stand in the face of this decision and announce their positions very clearly.

Dawood Shihab, an Islamic Jihad leader to which the Quds Brigades are affiliated, charged that Yahya's statements reveal the real intentions the PA security apparatuses were established for.

Shihab added that these statements, which boasted about the security coordination with the Israeli occupation and elimination of the Palestinian resistance is a disgrace and a scandal on Yahya and the PA leadership and a direct complicity with occupation.
