Israeli bridge near Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Zionist regime has decided to resume development of a controversial bridge near the fragile structure of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The bridge will stretch from the ancient Mughrabi Gate to the Dung Gate of the Old City of Al-Quds.
Palestine and Muslim leaders from around the world have criticized the construction project as potentially damaging to the fragile foundations of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The bridge, when completed, will come within meters of the grounds of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. The construction of this bridge is perceived by many Muslims as a plot to undermine the foundations of the mosque in order to replace it with a Jewish temple.
Israelis claim the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque to be the site of the Temple Mount, and many attempts have been made by Zionist terrorist groups to destroy the mosque in order to rebuild the temple.
